If I fit an ECU on my car (standalone or piggyback) will it fail the MOT?? And why pls??

we have the NCT over here (same but less strict) but i cant see how it would fail. maybe on emisions. but that should be about it.
and to state the odvious. make sure you have the cat on it. also if you have an after market box. get the baffle in it. might help especialy with the sound. |

You'll need the cat in then and it'll be tested on a set figures. Unsure of how much an ecu will effect emisions, depends how its tuned, but i would say you should be ok. Check with who ever tunes it for you. |
