This is a bit of a strange one :ermm:

Under full load with the revs not very high (4k) i have like a dull grinding noise that can be heard.

Im thinking of possible water pump failure. Any body else had this porblem ?

Yeah that coul be a main possibility. I have ATF :$ in it at the moment due to the box crunces with anything thicker. I was just prolonging the rebuild

it makes the sound only when the car's warm/hot and driving right?
if you depress the clutch the noise also goes away too??
also, the noise comes from the front left?
when it happens it happens every gear?
if it's that then it should be the release bearing...
mine sometimes make the noise, and i have replaced the clutch/ release bearing twice, gearbox oil 4 times and still makes the noise....
my old r32 made a very simillar noise too, but thats caus the bearing was worn
i had a feeling that its in the design of the bearing and the gb which caused the sound to be amplified, but this last one was just a guess...

I've still got a noise that sounds like the release bearing, hasnt got any worse.
Yep upon trying it again im now convinced its the relase bearing. It may have been there all along. Just cant hear owt over the Apexi :D

Thanks guys
