Assuming you're in Australia, its loud as **** (police will love you for it), gains are good from mid range and onwards but you really have to like the exhaust sound to buy the BC Spec IV otherwise you're going to regret buying it.

Just looking on the website according to the specs its wouldn't be that loud
being the spec IV it has a larger silencer than the earlier models.

Spec IV rating is 86dB @ 4500 rpm (acceptable level)
Spec III rating is 96dB @ 4500 rpm (Loud)
Spec II rating is 105dB @ 4500 rpm (Ears almost bleeding)

all ratings without the silencer.
those figures are only indications... since it will vary depending on what you have done to the intake system or if you fitted extrators or any internal engine mods....

also turbo cars will be bit more quieter than a N/A car...

so i think you probably need to add another 10db on top of those figures...

still if it's not JASMA approved... "i think"... so it will be over the legal limit anyway...

was so close to swappin my kakimoto, for this bc exhaust, but i heard it for myself as f**k is it loud, decided not to get it as it would, attract to much attention to the car ie police.but if ur into the loudness,go for it,id say the gains are pretty good to,but the exhaust hangs low, so be warned if ur car is lowered.

Trust me, despite their claims, its still DAMN loud and I hate the BC sound...

At a meet a while back, there was a few B16A powered Civics with BC Spec II, III, IV and Pro even though the later gen Catbacks were quieter they're still damn loud...

The FGK I've got atm is JASMA approved but it can still go up to 110dB =|

Buddy club exhausts are super light super expensive and super loud. FACT

Not worth the money imo
Go for something else like HKS or something a bit more established.

Buy the exhaust dude, its not loud at all....I have one on my car for that exact same reason. All of the AE101 and AE111 here are fairly loud and insurance and police and fairly stupid with noise = speed nonsense..

You won't regret it, when new it is extremely quiet, you won't believe its the same car, after 2 years or so it gets a bit louder but still not loud and obnoxious....It looks great and has a nice tone, everyone here loves it....

I've have mine for about 3 yrs now....
