Been a lot of questions on here lately bout cat back systems would love if everyone who has changed theirs or has first hand knowledge on a system to write bout their experience E.G. sound gains price and likes and dislikes thankin you il start bought 5zigen decat big difference for the money way more torquey and a lovely sound between 3-4500 rev its on a standard exhaust no proven dyno results but deffinately a good buy! 5zigen 80euro sounds the shit smells can be sickening when given her some at a stand still but handy to annoy some tailgatin prick in traffic! should see their faces when ya giver full whack

so police dont issue defect notices if they see your car blowing smoke or emitting smell? u guys are lucky then... it's like $15000aud fine with car impounded if we get caught not having a cat in NSW.. besides a lot of metal cats nowdays are high flow enough to not cause so much restriction anyway... so no one really bothered with running that sort of risk here anyway,i've already covered my exhaust here from there you can link it to my video clip and Sileighty's video clip of my car on youtube Edited by chiksluvit, Aug 13 2008, 05:13 PM.

iv the jasma rated n1 fullmega kakimoto racing exhaust, i absolutely love it, i haven got her dynoed yet,but defo can feel the kick after 4000rpm,iv a full straight threw system no cat,so at 7000rpm flat out,i get the occasional backfire, the exhaust is loud, but not deafening, really would recommend this system. no chicsluvit, but hav to say this mine is the jasma marked system,93db only also had a big mid muffler for furhter noise reduction, the older kakimoto systems are suppose to be deafening, something like 104db and are not jasma rated loud as hell. |

dont hate me bud,but my mate has a teg sir and did not rate the fujisubo cat back at all,in fact he actually lost a good bit of power,he now has the mugen, and tat really has increased his bhp,i also heard they aint very good on the levins to,u might actually lose power compared to ur stock exhaust, sorry but this is wat iv heard about these exhausts,on dif sites, maybe payin only 250 reflects on wat iv jus said.but hey stick it on and judge for yourself bud |

Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cMYENTMuIk That was my BZR when i installed a de-cat with a straight through exhaust...priti big flames from a NA engine. But da noise even at idle was un bearable an i nearly got da car impounded over the noise so i now have an Apexi N1 cat-back with a decat..love da sound and it still flames at times:P:P:P |

I've had the Fujitsubo Legalis R catback on mine since i bought it and find it great..also have heard that the Fujitsubo manifold is the best one for gains. I'd also recommend a decat pipe, put a 5zigen one on mine and noticed a difference. |

I got the same system as u, mate except the "CAT still sitting there", really agree for what u said about it, love the sound as its not too loud n deep soild!I think the system did gave me around 5-7bhp more tho... The CAT, would leave it along as i don't want too much hassle by changing it when MOT due. The mani still standard atm but is planned to upgrade it when my POCKET is 'refilled'

I went to see Alan at Solidfab today and he fitted the catback system that he makes, 2.5 inch ss pipe strait through with a back box, really is a well made system, I know others on this forum have the same so I shan't bother with pics or videos or any guesstimates of power gains I'll just say that for the price I don't think you can get anything better and Alan is such a nice guy,oh yeah and the car sounds really great too |

I went from Stcok to Tanabe Hyper Medallion then to OBX Racing WS Version muffler yesterday. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-WS-Universal-Muffler-Acura-Integra-RSX-TL-CL-TSX-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem483e2974e5QQitemZ310280549605QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories The Tanabe was just like the stock muffler as it was chambered but it had a 4" tip on it so a little extra noise but silent on full revs and i felt like is was slower than stock. The OBX burnt a hole in my bumper last night after installation so I now have a modified Carib Bumper. The bumper actually caught fire during a 12 mile hard run to catch a ferry. OBX is noisier but it feels faster up top than the other two. Feels like the BZR now. |

I have a fujitsubo legalis r twin exit on my st ae101 .. Before fitting i would put my foot down in third and id feel like the car was being held back by back pressure . The fujitsubo sounds perfect its not loud its a lovely note under throttle and after decatting it pops and feels free'r still ! |

Forgot to mention the POPS. I do need a silencer though as I drive 10 miles to work at 11pm every night and I do feel bad for the people on my route as most times I am making this run under full revs and the car is now almost as loud as when I open my Y pipe under the spare tire section. |

Loll you know what I mean. When the UK and Australian people come here they get scared. "How can you guys do 160km on those roads" they always ask. See a map of St. Kitts. http://mappery.com/map-of/Tourist-map-of-St-Kitts I drive from Ottleys/Lodge to Frigate bay every night. Edited by Ikenty, Dec 28 2010, 07:34 AM.

HKS silent Hi power, soon to be replaced, just the right volume and sound is nice, the system is about 5 years old now so i understand it will have suffered a bit, but the build quality is shocking all the same, all the wadding has come out and the piping falling apart, always rated blitz systems as always been my weapon of choice in other cars

Magoo and Muffler one from New Zealand, makes a nice note when accelerating but nice and quiet when cruising. Low profile too so doesn't make the back look lopsided. |

Have a Powerflow system, I think it gives a healthy increase in power thats certainly noticeable. Not as noticeable as the noise though, at idle it clocks 93db. But at 4000rpm it gives this nice rasp as you accelerate away from the NCT centre with a big fat fail due to noise |
