It helps, depending how quick you can change gear and were you want to top out...
my close ratio 4th tops 205km, std c56 239km

lower gears are good for very bendy track as you can always stay in power, and no trying to bump it into 1st

ace as you have much experience with final drives, can i ask do they really make a difference i heard the accelaration is much better, gears obviously shorter so you would as i imagine top out a lot quicker.

I use std 5speed final

Itll put more torque to the wheels by going slower but reving out faster.
if your track racing and you find 2nd gear is to tall on corner exits or you end up on the straight and not topping out the std gear you can gear it down a bit so you will reach that speed quicker.

On the street it means more fuel in short, throw ya ratios into a online calc and change the diff ratios and look at your 5/6th gear cruising rpm... if you race and don't top out std gears and dont mind higher revs at given speeds on the street its worth it

sweet sounds good, this might be a stupid question but does it put any extra pressure on the gearbox, any cases of gearbox problems after installin the final drive kit?

yes no... its just like running lower gears... main advantage is that your replacing the crown and pinion been aftermarket they should be stronger... and this is what fails in the 6speed box
