Anyone backfiring or missfiring from exhaust?

Does any 1 have Backfire from there exhaust with a new Header and Exhaust system on????
My car does this between 4000rpm and 7800 rpm on up shift. :bow:

I do, but usually on downshift/deceleration- unburnt fuel exits and usually ignites somewhere in the exhaust- bangs/pops odd flame now and again... more noticeable with a decat...

all the time i love it,specially going flat out from,starting from 1st to second,like a cannon going of,my mate bzr is the best,and loudest exhaust he has the 5zigen pro racer zz,and its mental,it backfires all threw the rpm range,and he dont even have a manifold on it yet ha

my levin does the same. . bangs going from 1 st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. . and when i lift off after full throttle. . love it. :bow: not too sure the police appreciate though :whistle: . . . . i'm running a 5zigen system as well.

Same here- full 5Zigen Pro Racer/ZZ - manifold/catback/decat (now removed and cat fitted for passing NCT) and yes loud as can be heard at 5:10 am every morning by my neighbours!! :P

Nope, backfire can occur with any car but certain conditions such as running rich.

My car backfires downshift, during shift, off throttle, etc etc Ask all the Sydney members LOL =P

all you guys backfires downshift? lol mine do it the opersit, if am cruising it backfires in 2nd and 3rd if am running it hard sometimes all the gears when upshifting and i got on stock exhaust with a bigger pipe at the back

hehehe, I used to have massive shotgun backfires on lift off :$ couldn't drive in town

Now with tune just have nice 1meter+ flames that light up the country roads and cabin at night on shifts in higher revs

had a guy in town use one of these - the flame was nuts - a few meteres at least - trouble was

a cop in a mufti cop car was behind him - so after melting the cops bumper he got arrested quicksmart

fucking idiots - they are everywhere! :P
