thought id put my foot down a bit and let ya see what stock c56 ratios are like.... very lazy changes and weary driving while holding camera
http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=r8WDjFQv_JQ And this is the close ratio wasnt been reved as high. http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=Hbfy2wh6XmY&feature=email What do you think would make the best 1/4 ratios? c56 3rd will go to 180km, the closer ratio 4th is topping out at 180 so 1less gear change with std, I know on the track the close ratio would clean up on corners. |

what's the gear ratio numbers when you compare them side by side??? it also depends on where and how much the rev indicator drops down when up shifting... some drop between 2,000rpm to 1,000rpm which can have an effect on power and torque accelerations... |

i forgot what speed my 3rd gear tops out but i know for a fact that on 4th gear it tops out at around 190km to 200km, since it was kinda bouncing on the limiter and didn't have time to look at the speed readings since i'm trying to look for the braking point going to the hair pin on the back straight of pukekohe track.... and mine is a stock 5 speed gear box... oh my speed readings are from my Apexi RSM which is calibrated with the tyres i'm running on since otherwise on the TRD speedo it reads like something over 210km/h... so driving at 100km/h on the motorway, it's true speed is only 97km/h.... |

i'd say the stock c56 for drag... hell the gearing is so short on the close ratio... btw, what crank are you using at the moment? BT or ST crank? and how about balancing? is it rebalanced? |
