Saw this on the bay, and thought it is a lot cheaper than the AE111 variants available from HKS. But would the AE86 manifold fit the AE111? Has anyone looked into this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OBX-Exhaust-Headers-88-92-Toyota-Corolla-GTS-FWD-4AGE_W0QQitemZ380093792120QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item380093792120&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 |

the bolt holes on each end will be wrong... with some drilling they can be made to work |

I don't think so buddy.. You better buy an HKS or a Fujitsubo manifold. |

oops didnt see ae86 that will def not fit, the ae92 ones can be made to fit EDIT: the headers on your link are for a ae92 not a ae86 and yes they will fit if you change the mounting holes on each end Edited by AceSniper, Jan 12 2009, 10:21 AM.

Anyone have anymore info on this? i just need to know if the ae92 4age header takes the same route as the ae111 20v header e.g between the sub frame and the steering rack |

It's something that I'm looking to do in the near future. I would be making replacement 2-1 units so keep an eye open for it. |

It wont fit. I bought one and sold it. When I lined them up it did not match. It wont clear the crossmember. |

it is easy to make 16V flange fit 20V just drill the end holes in diff positions. plenty of people have done it. as for crossmember, it should be the same as all 4a engines are interchangable and crossmembers are in the same place relevant to engine as the x-member supports rear engine mount etc. |

It might fit but It's not going to be optimised for the engine so personally I wouldn't bother as you probably wont get any gains. |
