What do you mean Nelly? :idk:

ITBs are in place of filters or Filters for ITBs?

No point of the OER Kit though, if you're running standard engine its pointless, if you're running a fully modified engine you've probably disabled the VVT...

OH!!!

Okay okay slow it down...

Trumpets/Velocity Stacks/Ram Tubes are part of the entire assembly called Individual Throttle Bodies =)

Okay the diagram above...

What you're looking at on the left from the black foam filters to the left extremes of the engine is the entire Throttle Body assembly. Trumpets that you're referring to on that picture are between the foam filters and the throttle bodies (silver)

They're not a replacement for your air filter. But you remove your stock Air Box IF you want to run the throttle bodies to atmosphere... Otherwise you can fabricate a Plenum to enclose it and run the stock airbox to the custom Plenum =)

the individual throttle bodies (itb) open and close to let in air into the engine, trumpets/stacks/ramtubes are the piece that fits onto each throttle bodie to make air coming into the throttle body enter in the most efficient way possible. ITB's generally don't make an engine more powerful but are used to shape the engine's characteristics and how it deliveries power.

For our engines leaving the plenum on is probably best for street use. You can take the plenum off and use sock filters and your car will sound amazing, but be prepared to for your car to run rich with the stock ECU and generally over-all-not-as-good.
