What I did was take the one out of the block and use it throught the sandwich plate and use the one from the sandwich plate in the block. Try it and see it the threads line up. 3/4-16 Threads, is our size

I'm not fully understanding what you mean by threads lining up...I just want to make sure it all fits perfectly and i dont get any stupid leaks |

The part that came with the sandwich plate was too short for me so I used the one from out of the block and swap the places. Does it bolt on to the one in the block? |

What brand of sandwich plate do you have? The centre bolt as posted above that you require is male 3/4-16 UNF to female 3/4-16 UNF male. I can't really understand how it could be the wrong length This is what it should look like: ![]() ![]() ![]()

Mines was short too Rob but I removed the one from the block and used the one from the sandwich plate on the block. everything was OK after this. |

taz mine was the same as the blue one as well it took me a while to be able to get it to fit but managed it in the end very awkward think i loosended the threa in the plate so the filter could just nip then tightened it up like that , mine never leaked |

You dont need another plate. I have never bought something that never needed modification to fit. Just be patient and it will work out. Mines cost $36.00 and it is still working after three years. ![]() Forget my previous posts about what I did. (I was up for 24hrs and my mind is getting old) The image above where purple arrow is, I took out that threaded fitting and turned it inside out as the threaded section not seen is longer than the threaded section you see. After doing this everything fit like a glove. No Leaks no Issues.
