I am pleased to announce the completion of the 1st Solid-Fab/Import_trung ae111 intake pipe. It is a direct bolt on upgrade for all ae111's. Constructed of 100% stainless pipe, all TIG fusion welded. Measuring in at 3 inch in diameter, it is the first Short Ram Induction (SRI) kit on the market for the ae111. A Cold Air Induction (CAI) kit will also be available shortly. The pictures show the intake pipe with a test velocity stack. (the final kit will compromise of SRI pipe, air filter, 2 silicone hoses, 4 hose clamps, and provision for the air intake temp sensor.) (relocation of the battery will be necessary) here's a pic of a stock intake pipe and box ![]() here's a pic of a HKS mushroom filter fitted with stock intake pipe ![]() and here's pics of our new intake pipe ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() fanstastic fusion weld

No filter on the 1st gen mock up? Where does it fit? Edited by JohnnyBZG, Mar 2 2009, 07:55 PM.

the air filter would sit in place of the velocity stack. i'll be running a velocity stack, hence the fitment pics of it. |

Could a fine mesh not be incorperated within the end of the trumpet? How is that exhaust system coming along? Alan said it was nearly finished? |

If someone is interested for an p&p intake for their Levin, i have 2 new Apexi sets (filter, airpipe, mounting hardware, etc) lying around which might go cheap. Please pm me in that case. |
