Changed Cv boots couple months ago so drive shafts had 2 come out and with that came out gear box oil... I wanna add in some gearbow treatment from Prolong heard its pretty decent, any ideas?? And i wanna also check my gearbox oil level aswel so that i dont over fill it,Think it might be lil short cos my 5th gear is bit noisy at 2-3K... Could it be something else thats making the 5th run bit noisy or is that normal on all the 20v boxes....?? Thanks guys |

i don't think you can overfill a gearbox the more oil the better? manual transmission don't have a dipstick you just throw in the oil until it's full to the top 3 quart should do the trick and for the noise in the 5th gear is it like scratching or you just hearing like a clicking sound? if it's a clicking soun well that's normal.
