they only go from alot of wheel spin or hard clutch drops, unless its the bearings

I just had to change my gearbox due a bearing faliure in my diff. The problem started with the speedo not working under throttle, and a slight whine, ended with the guy unable to move outside the workshop.

My problem was caused by a cracked bearing, which allowed the shaft to move, at which point it split my driveshaft oil seal, and the lack of oil ment the bearing exploded :wall:

I think it was origonally caused by lack of oil when my other driveshaft seal went about 4 months ago, and it took this long for the bearing to fail

see if you can wobble/shake the axles side to side in the gearbox if so its bearings/diff.
the spider gears in them get loose... and it just goes bad from there..
mate came over with a levin box to check out opend it up and the spider gears had mashed all there teeth off and one had split... come out of the diff and found its way through other gears in the box... so it was scrap.
