Stock air filter box not secure?; Help me check it?

EDIT: Scratch all that, I wont be lazy.

I bought a stock airbox for my Trueno, but the problem is I could only find a 4A-FE bottom half. The left side fits fine but there appears to be a gap on the right hand side, where the top and bottom halves meet.

I'm going to post up a picture tomorrow. Would someone with a stock airbox be able to comment on the fitment?

Not being rude, but have you tried fitting the filter? or is this gap there with the filter in place? Reason i ask is because there will be a gap there but the filter seals it off

That sounds promising, as yes I have fitted the air filter. This is what my frankenairbox looks like:

So I assume that's fine and I'm being paranoid?

Looks pretty much identical to stock man, as 1i1 said, the filter should seal it all up

Another way to check sealing is to leave it set up how you think it should be. Pull the air intake pipe off and shine a torch in, then have a look around to see if there are any gaps ;)
