Clutch master cylinder/line problems

Which clutch master cylinder will fit?

My car has a really annoying clutch issue. It feels like there is air in the system. Bleeding it lots has not improved it much. The pedal is very spongy which means I grind a gear the odd time usually when there is someone in the car or someone is watching :@

I must have bled at least 1.5 litre of fluid through it lately. This does help and the pedal gets a little firmer but still not 100% right. It just gets worse after a week or so.

Fed up now and looking to do something about it asap.

Also I'm going to go for a braided line but I'm unsure of which fittings are on it. I will have to order it online as tryng to find someone locally to make one up for me is practically impossible :wall: There are kits available for celicas but the fittings change depending on what model it is.

Thanks for the replies lads.

For the craic I phoned up my local Toyota dealers parts bloke and he quoted me £105.61 for a new clutch master cylinder

New Girling ones still in box off ebay for £25. Nah

I went for one for £5 off ebay from a college that teaches unemployed kids how to recycle cars and market the stuff. As long as they don't try to recycle mine without me knowing then  Its come off a written off 2002 Corolla.

I might bite the bullet and go for one of these (pics of braided line) braided cables for the Celica ST182/MR2 AW11 as gut feeling tells me they are the same fittings and I won't need to modify the bracket on top of the gearbox. They look the same length too.

The slave cylinder has little paint marks on it that suggest to me it came from a scrappy too at some point in the past.

most slaves have paint on them not sure green or yellow or somthing hah.

An aw11 clutch line looking at that image it has one male fitting and one female, our cars need both female fittings, the one im using is meant to be a brake hose for some corolla (not a 20v) will measure an pic 2mrw when im at home
