I am pleased to announce the completion of the 1st Solid-Fab/Import_trung ae111 cat back exhaust. It is a direct bolt on upgrade for all ae111's.

Constructed of 100% stainless pipes, flanges and hangers, all TIG welded.
The silencer is manufactured in the UK, and is of the highest quality, unlike the mass produced inferior products that flood the market.
Our silencers are used on track cars, single seaters and race cars which have to pass noise level restrictions. so rest assured it wont be a super loud exhaust.
Measuring in at a true 2.5 inch in diameter from tip to tip, there are no bottle necks, restrictive points or bends, for maximum power gains.

and for the pics:

NICE! love the way the muffler looks, and the workmanship

this reminds me of the one off catback garage Saurus made for their ae111 raced in the fuji champion race....

any chance you can post a video clip of it in youtube?

different exhaust tips will be available (3 inch, 4 inch, straight cut, slash cut)

a 2.5 inch tip was used on this exhaust because its what i wanted. ala spoon n1

i'll be posting more pics of the car once we complete the manifold and get the car off the axle stands. ;)

Are there any videos going up to get an idea of the sound? I dont want to sound negative but is there a plan for a tip to be added onto the backbox it just looks a little unfinished to me but thats just my opinion. The quality looks top notch

Remember guys, this is what I would call a basic race system. Very little weight and for out right performance. There are many options available to taylor to your exact needs.

Here are a few

All these can be added on to this system. This means making each one unique for your car.

aka Hyper Rev 4...
the design of the cat back looks like it's gonna be loud, but luckly the muffler seems to prevent/reduce the noise... but by looking at the pics, the muffler seems to sit quite low? will it clear speed bumps??? :idk:
also looks like this cat back will give good power gains too, maybe better than Buddy Club II... ;)

The complete system actually tucks in quite nicely and gives great ground clearance.

This should make some power over the other systems out there.

pity i dont have a levin, dont really wana lose the twin exhausts from my ae101!
Alan, we can make a twin exit for you no problems. ;)
that would probably mean sending the exhaust over to you! im more interested in the manifold at the moment, dont really want the car being loud as hell :)

Hello, top quality work here by the looks of it ! at the moment i'm running a black lable kakimoto system the same as the exhaust in the pictures, i'm just wandering in complete honesty how dose this new system compare to the new solid fabrications system ? i.e noise, power, drivability flat spots etc.. top effort so far ! i'm sure you'll shift a few of these :D

Well haven't quite had a chance to properly test it yet but one things for sure and that it is much lighter.

The pipework runs much straighter than the kakimoto so in theory it will produce more power.

supernova, in all honesty, our new system is better because it is TIG welded, less bends, and lighter.
it can also be custom tailored to suit everyones individual styles and sounds.

here's a video clip of the 2.5 inch exhaust system.
we should have a video of the 3inch system next week

Congratulations to Mike for owning the first Solid-Fab cat back exhaust!!!

He opted for 2.5inch piping and a 3inch diameter silencer and 3 inch straight cut tip. mated to the exhaust system is also a solid fab decat.

heres a few pics of it.

Mike should be along shortly to post a first impressions review after his 2.5 hour drive home. :D hope u made it back in one piece. :)

i'd also like to add, we will be designing a 4 piece exhaust system so that shipping will be cheaper for our international customers.;)

Finally home! This exhaust had the best welding Ive ever seen on a custom exhaust. I will get a video up of it soon so everyone can hear it under load. I was testing the noise levels out on my way back to the M25 and think i got caught by a mobile speed camera doing 80ish mph. Its fairly quiet at motorway speeds, the sound comes from the rear of the car rather than resonating within the cabin.
