Yeah, that's the problem.. You have a six speed gearbox with an aftermarket 3 wings metal facing clutch.. Isn't it??

I am a magician..

I had the same problem..And guess what? The next step of this was a broken gearbox..

So buddy, if you want to go with an aftermarket clutch with your c160 gearbox, buy a sports facing type clutch disc, not a metal facing one..

i had the problem even before i changed the oil and synchros, i changed second gear synchro when i have opened my gearbox along with 3rd and 4th but 2nd gear did not have any problem, i just chnged it cause the gearbox was already opened. am using redline symantic but lately am having trouble to select 2nd on high rpm again which it was never damaged before.

Are the question marks because Redline is normally considered to be a good oil for our cars or because it's NOT considered to be good? I've heard Redline oils have been used successfully for a lot of other cars so just wanted to clarify :)

I was thinking of changing to redline oil in the not-too-distant future.

id say he has quoted it because "redline symantic" doesn't exist.
Did you mean to type redline synthetic?

There is nothing wrong with redline oil.

Haha, I read what I was expecting, not what was written!

Good to hear that is a decent oil for our cars. In S13's redline shockproof would often make crunchy gear changes worse because a thinner oil was actually required.
