i think it's 47mm for silvertop and 50mm blacktop where normal 4age is 45mm... but when you say mini filters, is that for those trumpets/velosity stacks or something which fits right onto the throttle bodies??? reason why i ask is that if it's for velosity stacks then 52mm should fit since the thickness of the trumpets are about 2mm so if it's something that fit onto it then 52mm will be too big... can't you just buy it and try it out, and if it doesn't fit then just exchange for another smaller one, or is this something that you're gonna buy which is non refundable and non exchangeable???? |

By mini filters I mean small cone filters to fit to each throttle body as opposed to open stacks/trumpets Chances are will be non-refundable as will have to buy offline as nowhere near me sells what I'm after :( |

place i should be getting my stacks from has silvertop listed as 45mm, blacktop listed as 50mm for the dimensions of them. would assume that to be interior dimension. i can't see why the BT would have smaller TBs when it was the improved predecessor to the ST. take the plenum off and measure them if you can't get a definative answer mikey. it will depend how the filters fit as well, for instance, if they use a jubilee clip to hold them in place then you could tighten it enough to close down that extra 2mm gap. |

Easier said than done though Kyle
Chances are would be fitted using jubilee cliips though. Just hoping someone who's happened to have taken theirs off and measured the dimensions comes along and reads this post

Try PM nick, i'm sure he had both stubby and longer stacks. if so he should have atleast one of the sets lying about, ask him to measure the interior diameter. |

it's definiately 50mm just went to toda racing site and found out the diameter of the inside is 50mm for blacktop.... toda trumpets so when they say 52mm is that from the inside or outside.... if outside then it should fit.... |

i'm not sure exactly what gains i got since i haven't done a dyno yet with it and i fitted on only a couple of days then i left nz... all i felt was nosiy since i didn't put the black box back and left them open... and response was good after 6,000rpm... but i guess i bought those based on brand and quality... so it was bit expensive.... and i'm hooked on toda products too... so like to get everything toda if possible... but seems quite value for $$$ if it's 91 each... |
