Clutch biting high; Biting point is high but not slipping

Hello all, the biting point on my clutch has been getting higher and higher (as they do) but this last week it's gotten alot more noticeable ! The obvious first thing which pops to mind is that the clutch is worn and needs replacment, however the clutch isnt slipping at all ! therefore i'm thinking that it may be something else ? i've checked to ensure that theres no leaks and theres enough fluid in the reservoir, all ok. Now i know that obviously the hydraulic clutch will adjust it's self but is there anything else i'm missing out before i got taking it all apart and fitting a new clutch ? i.e can i adjust the throw on the clutch pedal at all ? if worst comes to worst and i need a new clutch can anybody reccomend a good supplier in the UK ? and what would people reccomend for a daily driver ? Many thanks in advance.

Tried giving it a bleed? Easier than replacing clutch to start with!

I wouldnt know for sure what clutch it is as it's the same one thats been in there from import, i'm guessing that it's probably the original standard one ? No it dosnt feel hard what so ever. Today i had a look at it and above the clutch pedal at the back there is a bolt that you can wind in and out (with a locking nut on it) i pushed the free play in on the pedal and wound the bolt in and it dose feel better ! I'm thinking that tommorow i'll give it a bit of a bleed as suggested and see how it feels ?

I know it's not the route of the problem but can anybody point me in the direction of a braided clutch hose ? as i think that it could improve the feel of the clutch, thanks for your help so far.

clutch is worn ,it will slip when it heats up after long use ,load the clutch to see ?try going up hill in a high gear or give the brakes a touch while driving to see if the revs jump without the speed

Nope the clutch dosnt slip what so ever, i'm a mechanic myself so i do know what i'm looking for and even the classic test of sat still with the hand brake on it dosnt slip but just stalls, it just bites high, although like i've said there is a marked improvment after adjusting the pedal as i did yesterday, gonna bleed it later on today and see how it feels.

just drive it theirs not much you can do.... it will give you some warning with slipping before it really runs into issues then replace it... or replace it now...
It could be the clutch cover has lost some of its pressure.

The clutch that it uses should be easy to find and cheap same item is used in 4afe 7afe 1zzfe 2zzge 4efte powered cars

exedy are all good... made in japan, you can get a kit that has a higher pressure cover but still uses a organic disc... depends on the price over there though.
