aka Hyper Rev 4...
there's not many companies who makes 4-1 headers unless you go custom...
apexi has 4-1 and 4-2-1
hks has 2 types of 4-2-1 (i'm thinking of getting the racing header myself)
then fujitsubo has 4-2-1
also aftermarket parts are getting harder to come by for ours cars since saddly many have stop making them...

as you said 4-2-1 has bit more torque than power...
and 4-1 has bit more high end power but less torque...

also when you get a custom made one... it will depend on the design and how the fabricator bends and welds the pipes up, since it will affect the power too...

Needs to Try Harder
5Zigen is a 4-2-1..seems to have a good spread right across the rev range...good pull in 6th low revs (<2.5k) too. Can only compare it to the stock mani- but having replaced the entire system in the one go hard to say where all the pros/cons are

Take a look on Nengun they've got a good few headers there to choose from.

I bought an HKS Racing Header but still waiting for it to arrive! Almost a month now! :(

Ill let you know BZ-G what its like when it arrives to help you make your decision

Thanks... have always wanted the HKS Racing Header but kinda never got around buying it... since i'm bit worried about the noise it may produce since my car is just with in the NZ legal limit of 95db... so i think it might make 1-2db more which i have to think how to overcome this problem...

it's worth getting if you already got an aftermarket exhaust set up already since it will free up the air flow... but in regards to where to get them... try the online traders forum here....

They have a 4-2-1 as standard. FGK make a good aftermarket header with proven results. I managed to get a set second hand, as they are really expensive.

new ae111 coming soon
as far as i know there are baffles at the bottom of the manifold get rid of these and you have a hks manifold without the badge B) so ya may be saving a few bob by doing this

There are also gains to be had if you replace the section that goes over the crossmember. It squishes the pipe down VERY badly. Not ideal at all.

I'll get some pics of my FGK headers to show the quality of the welds. Very nice looking indeed.

We have one that will be out shortly. The prototype is being finished off and will be dyno tested against the stock unit. It'll be a 4-1 system as we have found from practice this normally makes more power throughout the rev range.
Hi mate, just wonder is the new product completed yet?
If ready to sell, hows many horses improved? n how much,of coz... B) ?

The prototype version will be in testing shortly. Once we've tested it for reliability and power it'll be ready for sale.
