Can anybody explain these numbers??

These figures are the ratio to which the engine turning speed is ajusted to get the most out of it.
For example the natural speed of any engine in comparison to da gearbox would be 1:1 , but as u can c from these figures 1:1 would be some where between 4th and 5th, emagine what would hampen if u tried to take of in ur car in either one of dem gears ? unless u have serious torque it just isnt goin to hampen
the figure ther for 1st gear for example 3.166 this means for every 3.166 turns u r puttin down 1 turn .
hope u understand what i mean

None LOL

Of the Toyota C series... C56 I 'think' has the most suitable gear ratios and has aftermarket gear to close it down further if you so wish.

If it came out of a Starlet, chances are that its a C52, which has a longer 3rd + 4th + Final than the C56... Makes it feel lazy =P
