Well am looking at geting a set off these Trumpets made up .

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=267659839

From what i can find on the site most people say to run 50mm in the standerd plenum gives the best results. But then to make them fit most guys shave the first one . would it be ok if i just ran one that was 45mm or a bit more and then 3 that are 50mm ? .

Pluse what do people think of runing them open with socks ?

Hey

Even sized trumpets is for the best results. It wouldnt make much of a difference. If you want results even sized, the only part to shave off is just the tip of the number one trumpet its nothing troublesome.

Atleast that way they are all even length and the open with socks only really works well i heard if you have the tuned ecu to add the extra fuel with the extra flow of air otherwise itll do more bad then good.

its so tempting i know haha but if your looking for power keep them in the box.
