I was just wondering how you remove the instrument cluster, i know from my previous corolla there was the speedometer wire that had to be unscrewed behind the firewall in order for the whole instrument to come out, is it the same for the levin? the blue bulb for the full beam has stopped working and i need to get it sorted for MOT! cheers guys!

There are 2 screws in the top of the surround above the steering wheel that need to be removed. The surround then comes out pretty easily once you tilt the wheel down. There are a few screws that become visible that hold the cluster in place, these need to be removed and then the unit pulls forward. The wires are easily removed as they are on blocks with clips and there are only 2 or 3 from memory |
