Royal Purple in general is a excellent oil! 75w90 is about the correct viscosity so yeh go for it!

A great question heres how to know ... is your gearbox grinding ar snatchy in any gear ? or is it perfect ??

Either way change it !! it doesnt cost the world and you'l feel a great difference .

Gearboxs degrade due to metal residue in the current oil clear it out and it will stay silky smooth .

Any oil will do 75w90

if your lush use redline oil but as i said changing it is the big deal brand doesnt make much difference in my experience .

noob question, what is the difference between gearbox oil and manual transmission oil?

I've also found redline gearbox oil at the same price as royal purple, should i get that instead?

Sorry to revive old thread but apparently it seems everyone recommends 75-90 gear oil for a 6spd bzr with LSD
From what I could see of some pictures a few of them are LSD oils
I was told to specifically avoid LSD oils as they can stuff up my syncros?
Any help would be appreciated
