is it a c56? and lsd or nah? when i pulled mine out of the C52, it came out relatively easily with a few good wacks with a large lever and hammer. but am having trouble getting it out of the C56. could try giving it some wacks from the drivers side shaft hole if there is nothing in the middle? passenger side just has a little circlip to keep it in place whereas the drivers side is held in by the hanger on the back of the block. haha well if you get yours out can you come get mine out too? i've given up for now. logic says that by hitting it really hard it will eventually come out as the circlip will give at some point. could try getting a big pry bar on one side and hitting it with a hammer on the other, maybe the preload on the circlip and the shock of the hammer will help it come loose. good luck!

lsd or not lsd they are all the same. don't try and hit something through from the other side you will do damage. I use a bar and give the cv cup a sharp whack behind the cup. if you use a big flat head on the cv cup rib use a 5lb sledge to whack it.... you need a sudden whack that follows through..... tapping or trying to wedge it wont work Edited by AceSniper, May 13 2010, 09:15 AM.
