If I get the levin I've been looking at then I'm getting a custom catback built (probably) but just wanted to know do the decats make them much louder? Has anyone got any before and after bids please? Thanks James. |

What exhaust (cat back) do you have? I just don't want a loud idle. |

De-cat didnt make much difference in volume at all, a little bit louder but not much by any means, i've got a Kakimoto black lable on mine and it's not that loud at all, they also do a red lable one which is very loud ! |

That's what I have on my Rx at the moment. Silent is not a word I would use to describe it. I'll check that out thanks. Cheers Supernova may get a Decatur aswell then. |

Jus realised I saw that video earlier when I was scrawling through YouTube. Can hardly hear it on idle, but was it really like that or is it just the camera not picking it up? |

I found: Replacing the cat with straight piece - more noise. It wasn't hughly louder but definately could tell. Infact got home after having it done and first thing my old man said to me was "what did you do to your car". I wish I had just left the exhaust as it was (stock cat/front pipe, 2.5" cat back, one resonator and one muffler) |

Just had a decat put in today, liked the new sound it made, was a little louder but not a huge difference, probs coz i got a legalis r which muffles the noise quite well. A little bit more poke to!....again not a huge diff |
