I used to have a blitz ECU in mine. in terms of the spec, no one would know as it is blitz's secert. But I assume a more aggressive fuel map etc. These ECU are suppose to be coded based on your mods you have on your car. Unless the guy you are buying from bought it new..otherwise I doubt he would know what the ECU is mapped for....i tend to tell people to stay away from these ECU unless you buy them fresh, and have it mapped BASED ON the mods you have, rather than the other way around. |

very good point. you could get very lucky and its mapped to what you have done or you may not. |

Climate, fuel quality & condition of the engine would also effect the tune. |

Blitz Access ECU is a ROM-Tuned ECU just like the Mine's and C-One ECUs, usually they sell different pre-mapped ECUs to take advantage of different stages of modifications. Some will also personally reprogram it to your specific needs. For Blitz its also supplied as part of turbo/compressor kits

i have an imec one its mapped for 264in/out cams as a sticker inside the ecu claimed, if your taking a chance and just putting it in to your car make sure you can see the air /fuel ratio via a dyno or a/f gauge. if its running your engine lean, say good bye to your pistons or running it richer you will loose performance and economy |

more fuelling is needed for a turbo as more air is getting pumped in |

currently i'm using ecu chipped by blitz.. refer pic. ![]() this ecu taken out from track car from japs. REV cut 8,400-8,500, no speed cut. not sure this ecu programme for what spec (running vvt or not, suitable with cam or not...not sure) but currently my engine running with toda 288 & 272.. enjoy at pickup & mid range but not top speed. maybe this ecu for track setup.. |
