Right guys and gals, I got a new momo steering wheel and fitted it the other day now the only think thats bugging me is that when i put on the indicator it usually turns its self off when coming out of a turn but now seems to not want to do it Anyone shed any light on what could be wrong? Thanks |

, did you put a stearing wheel boss on it as well , the only thing i can think of , when you removed the old wheel did you disturb the stalks make sure you aint shot a spring out or distrupted the cancel rocker clip |

My momo wheel does not cancel the right indicator either. I think its because the cancel switch wont work with aftermarket wheel and boss kits

I dont think i disturbed anything, Ah well just annoying when ya so used to something now i just drive around with indicator always on because i forget haha |

I agree..I had to cancel mine manually also, it becomes second nature. So much to the point that Im still doing it in a new car I just bought a few days ago |

i just fitted a momo also. Does thwe same thing sometimes but sometimes it turns itself off. Also my wheels way too close to the indicator and lights, I think I need a boss kit spacer ! |

try having to cancel it with a deep dish wheel where i have to take my hand off the wheel to operate the indicator switches. not fun but like anything you get used to it. |

its because when u removed the stock steering wheel u also removed, a plate behind the steering wheel, that the air bag connects to which is also the, auto turn off for the indicator. you prob removed it because new boss kit will not fit over it i did it today. i'll take pictures of what it is if anyone is still trying to work it out.

apparantly this is common for aftermarket kits, my brother just fitted his momo to his gtfour and has to manually switch it off everytime sorry to go offboard guys but where can i get a boss kit for my 111? links would be great -dave

Sigh this is a shame, I just fitted mine along with BOSS kit and was like wtf! Indicator is brokedded! Atleast it's normal I guess! Freaked out for a bit then..
