I'm pretty sure your stock backbox is minimising any benefit (If there are any?) provided by the pipe being made up.

the stock backbox flows well enough i reckon, (also quoting bz-g) the sound of a decat and standard box is perfect, loved the way mine sounded with that setup..
i wouldnt bother with the pipe unless its a catback as the lads said.

wouldnt give you any performance, if it did it wouldn be noticeable anyway..
it'll get a bit louder when the baffles start burning out of the backbox.
i know what you mean, you dont want it like trants ha!

Just save up the money, if you can get a TRD or Fujitsubo Legalis-R...

They both sound about right for the noise you want I think, youtube for exhaust clips =)

new ae111 coming soon
you will loose some midrange torque if you remove the middle box i found that when i went from the stock to the trd cat back with no middle silencer

i didnt think there was much of a diff in the mid range torque when i got mine fitted, had it fitted before the ed-cat aswel like.
