Hey guys got a hks super header anyone know whats involved in the installation? lol a step by step procedure would be great

remove old ones. Install new ones ![]() The only annoying thing I found is that you will need to remove all the heat shielding from the factory 2-1 section before you can get it out. |

so basically undo the bolts disemble the lot and chuck in the new ones? will i need to support the cat back with a jack? |

Yea. Undo bolts between the 4-2 and 2-1. Remove oxy sensor. Remove bolts where the 2-1 connects to the cat. Remove the bolts where the 4-2 connects to the block. Remove the bolt where the flange between the 4-2 ans 2-1 connects to the block. Remove the bolts where the 2-1 connects to the hanger on the cross member. Remove all heat shielding from the 2-1 section then spend ages trying to wiggle it out lol. (these are in no particular order) Yea just chuck a beer crate or something under the exhaust to hold it up. |

iv made my attempt to install my new headers and i couldnt even get through the first step hahaha removing the heatshield! what a fail lol rusted as fudge think im gona have to go get the drill bits to remove already tried all the lubricants |

yoiu dont need to mate. the exhaust hanger. take that off and the rest will come out with a little wiggling. done it loads of times. the hangar makes it very hard to get out but once off should come out easy |
