Just wondering if anyone could help,

my tank was empty and the petrol light was on obviously, so I went and filled her up and the light stayed on. I said id give it a day to see if it went off, but it didnt so I reset the ecu by taking out the efi fuse and that didnt turn it off.

Thats as far as my abilitys go with the car :idk: so im asking for some help from anyone that would know why its staying on and how to turn it off.

Its been through two full empty cycles since so im really stumped on this one.

Thanks

It will most likely be the fuel light sender. Its seperate to the float which controls the gauge. I think it is some sort of capacitor? You will see it when you get into the tank, it has 3 wires going to it and its fairly easy to replace.

I've been through 3 already. I wonder if it has anything to do with using Ethanol blended fuel? :idk:
