Annoying squeak

Hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about;

For the past week or so I've noticed an annoying squeak/rattle sound from somewhere in my car. From what I can tell, it only occurs between 1.5-2k revs, and goes away by applying the lightest pressure to my clutch pedal.

I thought it might be a case of needing a new throw out bearing, but reading on the interwebs, apparently it can be caused by lack of grease on the slave rod?

Has anybody had any experience with this problem, or know of the underlying cause for it? I hate knowing something is amiss with the ae111.

give the pedal rod a spray of wd40 , first and see if it goes away or apply a light coat of multipurpose grease

it should be a quick easy fix :thumbsup:

Sweet, I'll give that a go in the weekend. I'm hoping it's nothing serious.
