Hey guys I am getting a cat back exhaust next week and was wondering if there is any considerable difference between 2.25" press bent piping and 2.25" mandrel bent ? The guy at the garage said at 2.25" it wouldn't make any difference I did look at google but it refers to larger exhausts just looking for some opinions/info Cheers Edited by 9,10,levin, Mar 1 2011, 08:20 AM.

most JDM cat backs are mandrel bent 60mm/2.25 inch (inner diameter) go for mandrel bends when possible, the diameter is consistent throughout the exhaust including the bends the factory exhaust is press bent and has a smaller diameter in the bends |
