Recently obtained some aluminium piping from my work (for free) :P

and decided to make up a extended cold air intake to what I originally had, having the pod filter taking in air from just behind the bumper fog light piece.

was a bit harder to do than others would have experienced as my battery is larger and my pod filter is the inversed cone type so it tended to push out the guard liner toward the wheel which I wasn't too confident about leaving it like that so decided to add an extra bend underneath the guard to point the filter more towards the front of the bumper and used the heat shield as a dirt/water guard to stop crap from splashing up onto the filter if that may happen. With the battery side of things was even more of a pain, had to shift the overflow tank over a bit to make way of the battery, but the down pipe fitted snug in the hole that took almost an hour to cut out with the die grinder fitting :P

Bonus of having a small battery is that its not too much effort to run the pipe to the inner arch

Oh and nice sandals :P

looks like it's slipping off but I had to mount it like that so it could curve round properly :P

PS. I ran out of joiner clamps so had to use dodgy zip ties haha.

oh yeah, but piece of mind that I am able to start the car easily every time lol
about the scandals i've had them from the start of high school hahaha.

definitely right there jase :D getting the bottom end re-balanced next wednesday so am looking forward till then, still having problems with finding the CORRECT engine loom as the one I got is definitely not off an AE111!!
pisses me off man but never mind will get there in the end.
