Hi there all, as per my last thread and as some of you know already I'm currently living in Thailand. There's alot of parts available here for a decent price. Many bits are second hand from Japan. Anyhow I have the offer of a HKS-F con pro ECU with AE111 Loom for around £250 ish which would plug straight in. To get it mapped is another £50, a little different to the UK Anyhow my Levin is still in the UK at the moment, I may bring it out I may not (import tax is massive) Anyhow what is everybody's views on this ECU? If I get one and bring it to the UK is anybody able to recommend somebody to map it? Thanks alot.

there should be plenty of places to map. for 250 i think its a bargin but it all depends on what model it is. ok i think your going to have to find out how much it will cost to ship this kind of stuff lol. hks are a few diffrent pros and version you can have a v-con pro / v con pro gold and a s-con pro. and an is -con pro. i could be wrong. |

HKS F-CON Pro V to have it properly tuned, you need to find a HKS Pro Dealer with the Pro software otherwise good luck. Usually HKS Pro Dealers are expensive too. HKS F-CON iS is the Piggyback but also comes with some HKS Turbo/Supercharger kits. HKS F-CON D is the Diesel Piggyback

It's a HKS f-con pro V. As for shipping then that is no issue as I'm here in Thailand so I can either bring the car to me of take the ECU etc back to the UK with me. Probably going to buy myself a nice few bits to be honest, good quality and good prices! As for the tuning side of things then I'll have a look online at available tuners in the UK. At the moment I'm running pretty much standard minus an exhaust and filter but In the near future I plan to upgrade so it'll give me a big scope! |

HKS Dealer + Pro Dealers - UK Link or IRE Check their pricing too, usually HKS Pro Dealers are a lot more expensive than anyone else cause they're the only ones with the Pro Writing software

Thanks for the link dread, depending on price then It still probably would be worth buying it as it's really pretty cheap hey! It would all plug in and then just need mapping properly. As it's a used item it will come with a map on from the car that was using it in Japan so of course I could just plug it in and drive but I cant see it running very well so I would definetley get it mapped. Anybody on here actually using a HKS f-con pro? |

Thanks for all the info again guys! Nice to hear of somebody with experience of this ECU, With a good map I guess it should run perfectly? The thing is it needs so many maps, such as for A/C (Which I certainly want to keep) Lights etc etc... Please correct me If I'm wrong. |

HKS F-CON V Pro is like any other full standalone ![]() If Top Secret could tune that V12 Supra with it, I'm sure it'll handle your 20V just fine

Thanks again DreadAngle, I think I'll snap this ECU up then, cant really go too far wrong for the price hey! Especially considering it has a AE111 loom with it. So installation wise it literally should be plug in!

As far as I know, HKS produce vehicle specific and universal, I don't think there was an AE111 specific harness. |

I'm unsure to be honest, perhaps what has been done is that it has been stripped from a ae111 and the loom included? Not sure, I will hopefully get some more details about it soon. |
