I need to replace the clutch in my car, rang Toyota and altogether, a full kit will cost €291 and thats even with a 10% discount! I'm very tight on money at the moment and cant afford that, but i browsing here and seen someone post a link to Fensport UK, so i had a look for a clutch kit, and theres one there for £91.50 incl VAT. http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_92/Category_3/ Anyone have any experience with them, or heard anything about them, good or bad? |

Chances are that it will be a ADL Blueprint clutch so it should be as good as oem |

I was just after seeing that Exedy clutch alright, might get that one as ive heard good things about them. As long as its a Stage 1 clutch kit, apparantly the problem with mine is that there was a heavy racing clutch put in by the previous owner and its too heavy for cylinders, over time its busting the seals. I use the car for everyday use as well, so i want to stay away from heavy racing clutch kits. |

Cheers man, but I'd rather buy new when it comes to the clutch, had a bad experience with a 2nd hand clutch on a previous car, and with the cost of labour, I'd prefer a new clutch |

How long did the exedy one last? I've heard nothing but good things about those clutches I thought they were one of the best clutches to get for our car? |

No, i'm over in Sligo, i'm sure its a near perfect clutch, but i just said after the last time i'm only buying new clutch's from now on. I think ill probably go for that Exedy one, i havent heard much about the other two brands, and ive heard a lot about the Exedy, and they come with a year warranty i think anyways. |

Cheers anyways man. I have the NCT coming up, it was due the end of March, but that new law is coming in on the first on June that all cars over 10 years old have to get a test done every year, so i better book mine in before that. Edited by TRUENOSAM, Apr 5 2011, 09:36 AM.

The Exedy or the Fensport one would be fine. Buy pretty much anything from Fensport and you don't need to worry at all! No problems with them, very well respected company. Remember that the clutch is the same as many many many different models so you could just go down to your local motor factors and buy one off the shelf. |

Yeah their prices are great, next time im looking for somwthing im going to go for them. I purchased the Exedy clutch but i got it from an irish dealership cheaper than that on Ebay, can at least if i have any problems they'll be easier to contact. And of course the last 2 days the clutch has been perfect. Weird. |
