Hi all, I've just purchased a second-hand Legalis R for my AE111. When it came to fitting it seems that the mounts on the exhaust are different to the standard item, and as such the rubber mount that fits between the exhaust and the car is different. Does anyone know where I could get one from? |

Could you not use a superflex universal one Ben? Demon tweaks sell a whole range of them |

Thanks for the suggestion - I had thought of it but, bar halfrauds, I couldn't think of anywhere that might sell them. I'll have a look and see what I can find

are you still running the factory exhaust as seen in your build thread ? the exhaust place should be able to fabricate a custom bracket and reuse the factory mount, i had that done when the exhaust i bought didn't have the correct mountings. i'll try and get some pics tomorrow to show what i mean Edited by n2o, Apr 5 2011, 09:41 AM.

as you can see the custom bracket was made so that the original rubber mount could be reused.

I had a bit welded onto the the chassis to have it fitted. It maybe easier to bend the prongs or take the prongs off your standard exhaust and weld them to the ones on the exhaust. That way you can use the standard rubber mount. Just make sure that it doesnt sit too low |
