I don't think anyne on the sight has tried Magnaflow Axle Back/Muffler with custom piping, though I think a few members use Magnaflow Hi-Flow CATs? |

Hi-Flow CATs won't help you in the noise department if thats what you mean? It usually makes it louder than stock. However if you've been running a testpipe/Decat then it'll be quieter. Performance wise, honestly I've not seen much if any improvements to the output anywhere without the CAT. I think a few members experienced this with their dyno runs. i will tell you the type of setup ive got then you can prob tell me the best way to get it quite. i am currently using stock exhaust system with cat disabled along with a fireball tip and my car is really loud, i want it a bit more quite and smoothly so which is the best way to go? |

Okay well Fireball tip is why its very loud XD you want to change your piping to 60.5mm? I think it was, perfect sizing with near perfect flow capacity v minimal backpressure. That Mangaflow axleback muffler might or might not be loud, the Kakimoto R is pretty loud for a muffler style. See how you go with that, if its too loud still then add a hotdog resonator or two =) |

Heya guys, need a bit of help. Been looking into getting a new custom exhaust for my 111. Have sat down and had a chat with my local exhaust shop and have come up with this setup. I said I'd go home and research a bit more before I make any decisions, which is you guys. The setup we discussed was:Tubing (2 1/4) / 2.0 ALICLAD MUFFLER MUFFLER CHAMBERED MOUNTING ROD/STEEL 10mm And for a tip I am currently looking at this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=385966477 Basically just want a second opinion, or if possible a video or audio of what it would maybe sound like.
