Ladies and gents, Long long awaiting dilemma of mine... I've got the ARC Intake Chamber + HKS Pod + Tom's Super Ram Intake Twin Feed Extrodinaire (I dunno the name of it XD) anyway I'm strugging to find a place to put the damn air sensor. Where did you guys fit it? |

Just drill a hole anywhere that looks good. And use the grommet from the factory air box. |

Hmmm, I was thinking the metal adaptor tube connecting the HKS Pod to the ARC Chamber but I'm afraid it might block the flow so the other option is drill into the ARC Chamber but where... I'm thinking of the same side as the blow-by pipe but somewhere below it? So the sensor doesn't cop the crap coming from it hahaha... Edited by DreadAngel, May 18 2011, 08:37 AM.

Guys sorry to revive an old thread. Do you need to put the sensor back in? Can you just run it with out? |

Sensor just needs to be somewhere that sees the same air temp as whats going into the motor. If you have a pod filter, just have the sensor next to it. Only time it will cause an issue is if it's not plugged into the loom or if it's somewhere which is considerably different in temperature range (ie right next to the exhaust) |

All good. I think people get a little caught up in where its put - just as long as its somewhere thats about the same temp as the air going into the filter its all good. |
