I was looking for a quick shift 5 SPD. but I use 5 SPD silvertop gear box, I think probably the same with 5 SPD blacktop. it is difficult to get and expensive .. anyone can help here for custom DIY quick shift .. I saw a quick shift, but I do know the difference. I look just like OEM and them modified. it is very important to me because when I change gear and put either higher or lower, if tight and sound KROOKK!2 especially when the 2nd gear and gear 5th to 4th. what the shit!! i difficult when drive.. espesialy when i DRAG!!

I doubt it, otherwise TRD would've put same part # on theirs? =| |

The TRD one was a complete shifter assembly though so quite possible the difference is in the base. I'd be more inclined to steer away from something using JASMA as the actual brand Would have thought you'd be able to find a decent condition TRD one for sale on Yahoo Auctions Japan? |

WOW 300 - 400 for a short shifter? So what is the actual diff between 5 and 6 speed? Is it just the assembly ? or is the shifter its self smaller? bigger? |

oh great thank you rob. WOAH! are the linkages custom suited to the actual leaver? if not it may be better to do the ol' cut and re-thread trick.. |

Crap that's pricey for the short shifter. Did some research and pretty sure any of the rollas with c52 boxes should have interchangeable short shifters with the c56 we have. Checked out a few parts references on toyodiy and it appears to be the same lever. So a cheap solution would be to just get the modified shifter for around $50 Edited by Tonkatsu, Dec 16 2012, 08:07 PM.
