so my own experience of running open stacks with an itg filter has given me only less torque at low revs, slightly higher fuel consumption, and a hell of a sound. as much as i like the noise it makes, its very loud and is starting to do my head in after a year. really not good if your on the motorway longer than 30 mins. im sure that bringing up this subject will get me cursed at but......is it worth me replacing the set up with a CAI, a mushroom filter/ cone filter behind the bumper, and mayyybe some imec/toda trumpets in the plenum ? alternatively, should i just leave it ? If you find the current ones too loud, as long as you have space have a custom fab'd box made up for it and you can design your own CAI to go with it

probably would be enough space, but i dont think there'd be much room in the airbox with these trumpets. for CAI, i was just gonna do what quite a few of the guys have done. im assuming a mushroom filter would fit down behind the bumper, ive only seen cone filters being used. was just thinking, i may see if i can customise the current trumpets to fit in the standard plenum. save me buying more
