Welcome Gavin

As for insuring the ae111. I would not recommend as it's insurance fraud. The levin and trueno are both on the insurance lists of a few companies

I advise to have a good search about on here to find all you need to know

Have you checked with the companies listed in the stickied UK insurance thread?

I'm afraid I can't be much more help than that, I'm in NZ!

Welcome to the forum mate! Your in exactly the same situation as I was when I was looking for insurance, I was the same age and having big problems! I couldn't even get a quote at first! I then called Adrian Flux and got it all sorted straight away for a decent price :) So yeh try them and Sky insurance. I'm guessing that it'll set you back around £1000 a year.

looking at a 96 model on friday non super strut suspension model which i have heard is probably best on rubbish uk roads. the guy said the engine has pretty much been rebuilt apart from piston rings! all gaskets done e.t.c running the factory 190 psi across all 4 cylinders! non lsd box which is a five speed. and its done 60000 miles was imported with 60000km on clock then changed to miles so now showing 90000. also recent exedy clutch kit. anything i should check on the car as you guys will obviously have more of an idea than me.
how does it sound to you ? he's asking 2000 pounds? reasonable?

I've obviously had a much different experience with Adrian Flux, I'm now paying £460 a year for the Levin which in my eyes isn't too bad at all.
