Hi everybody,

My name is Quoc (Q), 28 of age and new here. Got to the site due to the windows stickers on the Levin I just bought a week ago.

I'm from Holland, live near Amsterdam. I flew to UK last friday, bought a Levin, and drove back tot Holland.

2 days ago, I passed the DVLA import tests. Now waiting for my Dutch plates.

Some pictures:

It is a 1996 Levin BZ-G with around 87k km milage.
Not lowered yet. HKS silent Hipowe cat-back.
Non SS and non LSD (i think) 5 speed gearbox.

After the DVLA I picked up some of the toys I already collected

-HKS Super Header II. Just have to find some time good install this along with the decat.
-TOM'S TEC II
-Diferent brake calipers from the BZR I believe.
- Tom's platinum spark plugs (just NGK make lol with a diferent logo)

Yesterday I installed the TTT stacks. Running a bit better than the airbox I had.
Just took it for a spin... enjoying it a lot.

It has a TRD front bump. still missing some skirts though... will make it look better.

If you have question, please ask!
Cheers!

I also had some other toyota's.
Used to have a Starlet EP7 with an 4age 16v build into it, for tracks...

Wrecked it on the tracks... I have an other shell, to build a Blacktop into it. But I don't have time for it.

Also have a original Dutch AE86 Levin 3drs.
Longterm project as the rusts are a pain in the ass. :P

Thanks all... I bought the ECU a couple years ago... also have a TRD 4AGE 16v ecu here. More like a Multi ecu as you can switch mappings to use it on other Toyota engines.

I used to buy a lot of parts for the Dutch Starlet GTT/Glanza scene. think I bought 6 maybe 7 Blitz/Mines Ecu's for here? Bought them in Japan.

Well its been a couple days now.

I finally got my platenumbers this week from the DVLA.
They've sent the V5C papers, I think I'll recieve it on mondays, then I can pick up my licence plates.

Didn't had the time to install the exhaust header and decat on the car.
I'll be heading to JAE next weekend. Have to arrange the trip for it, more important.

Next, still looking for PFL sideskirts (black 205 preferred :P ), and lowering springs for non SSS.

Hi, It's been a while I've updated my topic.

I've installed the HKS SuperheaderII with a decat.
Sound of exhaust is much better.

Also just recieved another goodie from Japan,

Unfortunately it doesn't fit directly into my BZG. Have to swap 4 pins from the second connector to make it work. But it looks great already :)

i would be careful with those filters as i've heard that they can get 'sucked' into the engine.

Can't you not modify the box to fit so the stacks can fit in like I did? I am sure that teh sound is awesome but I tested mines with and without the box and it moves better with the box.

the 75mm stacks doesn't fit into the box. I'll need shorter stacks to fit in the airbox.

I've heard about the filters, the top coming loose. I've checkit with these, no loose ends at the moment. But will keep on eye on it.

Didn't get the complete airbox with the sale though.
As for now, don't feel any performance drops, with or without box.

Looking for some Arc airboxes though :P

Heat soak would be one of my concerns with that set up

Hey dude, could you tell me how to do the 4 pins swap? I have a BZR cluster (not TRD) arriving soon and my car is BZG aswell.
Thanks.

Hi everyone... a little since the last time.

I have been busy these couple month. Got sacked at my work... well actually... they're moving the department a 100miles up north, and won't compensate any extra costs if I stay. So basically, you're forced to quit the job.

Anyway... Its been a while and I did some minor adjustments since last time.

The rear shocks was very bad, leaking oil and stuff.. I got a replacement KYB Excel from a friend and I lowered the Levin with Apex Spring. just 35mm.

I took the pictures just after I fitted the springs. Now it's dropped a bit more.

Also welded a new decat.
For some reason the HKS S/H II makes and the decat pushed the exhaustpipe downwards in the middle.

Before:

So I welded a new decat.

Decat:

Welded it without leaks in one time! Suprised of my own welding skils lol :rotfl:

And after picture:

Now it doesn't hit the ground whenever I drive over a speed bump. Even when the car is lowered...

Don't know... didn't time it... Was the first time to take the Levin to the tracks. and directly on the Nur was a bit tricky.

It's still on standard shocks... a bit wobbly when taking fast corners, and there is a slight brake difference left/right. Need to look to that before hitting the tracks again.

Maybe I'll go to Zandvoort Circuit on Sunday the 27th, if my brake problems is fixed.
