Sorry mate, but I've bought this exhaust for my Levin...
I was in contact with the seller for a week now, and he re-listed it for me, after I told him that I will buy it.

I have a 5-Zigen Pro racer also, Pretty sure it's the same as that video and yes it angle's off to the side the muffler that is. Loud enough even with the cat and but ok on idle and with low revs. |

have you been offered a manifold back or a cat back? or is it just the manifold mate? i would have thought that trying to use the stock downpipe on aftermarket manifold would show no gain as looking at stock downpipe it just looks a restrictive crushed mess ! |

The 5zigen Pro racer ZZ is a catback exhaust system mate! Not a manifold

lol at me anyways haha..The person I was talking to said it was a 5 zigen but as I've said I know nothing in that area! Are manifolds designed to have a specific downpipe or will the stock one work? |

Aftermarket manifolds, come with their downpipe. OEM downpipe will have smaller diameter pipes than an aftermarket |

Taz, they can work with a reducer or what not but there is no point. The proper AM manifolds are all sized and length tuned for different effect (volume, scramble, etc). Having a stock downpipe would hamper the gain or make your car go very backwards or worst still backpressure... |

Cheers for the info ads I was offered the mani cheap so I said I'd ask about it better to leave it off so as finding a downpipe would be 2 much hassle for me. I might be on my own here but I cant justify paying almost 400euro for a second hand mani and getting very little gains! |

€400 seems like a rip off to me, a little bit more and you could by a brand new one, down pipe included. I know a guy who got a HKS one for an Altezza from a breakers for €250 which included the downpipe. And also depending on what you want from a manifold the gains vary. Some 4-1 types are for high RPM gains with losses low down I think they have a larger diameter downpipe too, 4-2-1 have mid range gains. A good manifolds results can vary compared with a poorly designed one but when choosing one I would go based on feedback/experience of what people on this forum have used. Also the gains are mainly seen on engine's with uprated cams etc. With 4AGE tuning the stock manifold doesn't become much of a restriction untill 180,190 flywheel horsepower.
