hi james. can you photocopy the pages showing the 3 connectors that sit infront of the ecu. i think they go between the ecu and the dashboard. i know i got the pinouts from you before, but i was wondering it you have a schematic drawing of it. thanks |

sorry for the late reply, yeah i'll try find it for you but I think it doesnt havbe the exact pinouts for those plugs, the wires are just scattered to those plugs, but will have another look when im back at toyota later this week as I have already returned them. |

sounds like a definite short to ground. like you say, possibly the black wire from the battery. but good luck as diagnosing can be a bitch sometimes lol. in my case im trying to find out why my engine has a really rough idle and hesitation every now and then. taring my hair out at this point. |

yes that right, could have been that our tps is interchangeable with other engines and on our motor we are only needing three. |

I have a second question for you james I have constantly build up of oil inside my vvt solensoid and both the prongs and the connected seam fairly soaked in oil after 5 mins once cleaned Is this correct?or is my engine head damaged? Im like a lost sheep with the car I dont have a clue with electrics or sensors |

With-in the solenoid plunger, oil is ment to be found ther, but how on earth do you get oil in the plug connector!? Haha might be an idea to check the state of the rubber seal, see if its gone hard etc, mine did but couldnt be bothered replacing so just put silicone around where the solenoid meets the head and shes all sweet now. Your rocker cover seal isnt leaking over the solenoid is it? Lol |

from what i can see, you need the brown/white wire to pin number 12 and the red/black wire to pin number 13. im unsure of which plug that one is but it has 2 red wires and two green wires coming from it |

Many thanks for your response james, but will you explain more about it. As you can see from the pics, my sensor wires are green white and red yellow, also in the pic, could you inform me which location to be pinned out? A,B,C or D? Thx |

all i can say at this point is just try hooking the wires up and see what happens, wont do any damage as its only a signal to the module from the sensor. |

So I got a dashboard out of an AE111GT to install in my AE110. However it came with the electric AC controls. Mine was manual. Can someone please provide me with the AC Wiring diagrams pleasee? The link for it is dead in the first post. Thanks in advance guys. |

![]() Oh thats good news. I've been trying to find a pinout/wiring diagram for these controls all over the web but I can't seem to find anything. All I really need working is the clock,ac on/off, econ on/off and the rear defogger. Dont really care for the other functions as i never used them on my manual controls. The temperarure control as well as the fan speed control will work as normal with my existing wiring and cables. Edited by Ronaldo95163, Jul 26 2017, 03:06 AM.

I'm guessing it should be similar to a Levin or Trueno that came with manual a/C as all of that stuff looks much the same as on my car with manual controls |

No... Mine are more similar to the ones on the AE111GT console that you posted earlier. What I meant by my earlier comment is that the ones on the AE111GT console looked similar to mine, whereas there was a version of the AE111 Levin and Trueno that came out with climate control AC. That version had fully automatic control to achieve a set temperature in the car. Mine has the electronic buttons as per the AE111GT console, but still the same array of buttons, not the fully automatic electronic climate control version. |

Ohhh okay lol I'm hoping that I can get the GT controls working for the functions I want. It should be more or less wiring it back into my existing harness from my current controls hopefully. |
