are you swapping a silvertop or a blacktop? the looms are completely different and will determine whether or not it will plug in or not... |

like i said there is no wiring diagram that will help you. best bet is to try to decifer a haynes manual although need to be ultra smart/electrically minded to get any sense out of the wiring diagram that is like spread across 4-5pages. i got a real clever guy to help me wire my car. he did it without any wiring diagrams, just working through what is needed and what is not with body loom. |

I might be able to help you but listen carefully to what I am typing. 1. Do you have the complete blacktop wire harness? 2. Use the Fuse box for the Car as your blacktop harness and Fuse box might be more complex depending on what options the car had. Most of the wires from the fuse box goes back inside the car not to the harness/engine. -From the blacktop harness to the fuse box is ALT, ABS, and a few more that is needed and present on the 3ZZ Fuse box. 2. Does the interior harness connect with the Blacktop Harness? - If your answer is no which I suspect it is then this is where the mojor issue will be but a few hours with a volt meter will solve this easily. 3. Are the 3ZZ engines returnless fuel? 4. Power to the starter comes from a white wire which runs from the Fuse Box to the Starter and also to the inside harness then goes to the left side of the car in a type of power box system. (This is for AE111 Blacktop only as the AE101 Blacktop is configured differently) |

i have the loom as i have a donor car (ae111) the interior harness connects but there is a black connector block & it has 9 wires going to the rear of it & only 5 wires comming from the levin side would this power the ecu ? as the ecu is not getting power at the moment! also the starter wire seems to be black with a red line through it... |
