alrite, iv been looking into a new gearbox for quite some time now and iv seen one turn up, but its not for a 'A' series... So basically does anybody know whether if the 2000 onwards toyota 5 speed box's are still C series box's just with different bellhousing? |

From memory they are a C52 but will have the starter on the front rather than the rear (means it will possibly foul on your exhaust manifold) Axles may not fit though, thats something you'd need to check. Oh and ratios may not suit the 20V too. |

Ahh thats a bit of a shame about the driveshafts but the starter wouldnt matter as id use my bell housing which has two mounting anyway, ideally I want a c56 as im using a ae92 c52. Think ill do a bit of research into the ratio's see what I can come up with |

I couldn't gaurentee they are different, but wouldn't assume they are too. If you have access to some axles you could test it out |
