Hey bud im from perth too. Silvertop? Ae111 shuld have a blacktop 20v better double check on that. Buying it from down under autos? Anyway theyre a good car, exhaust stuff made to fit need to come from japan. Rhd japan, nengun and import monster are your best bet but things arent always cheap. I got my headers very cheap from nz (less shipping) ill see if the seller still has stock. Finally some more ae111 drivers in perth! |

yeah theyre punchy cars. yeah ive got a white 97 bz-r, look around on the forum for info theres heaps if you want to play around with it. Ive done all the basic breathing mods on mine, mild cams and it runs great. only real probs youl get are from the superstrut, i have parts on the way for mine now. whats the lowdown on the car? (colour, price, mileage, trim?) my cousin had one before me and when i crashed my dc2r i ended up getting one of these too. I know there is at least 4-5 more levins/truenos running round perth another one of them is on the forum. we should all get together for a bit of meet/cruise or motorkhana day will be good fun. |

hes pretty stiff on price just for the heads up. sounds good nice and low on the km's. listen out for knocking noises from the suspension when u take it for a fanging though so you wont have to bring it back. you should get a 1 year warranty anyways however. if you want to throw her on boost the actual block is solid, i think pistons, rods and lowring the comp ratio, and a standalone asides from all the turbo components ( turbine, piping, intercooler etc) |

nice what sort of intake ideas you have planned? look at what some over the other fellas have done with theirs for ideas man, the blacktop stock intake is generally quite good as is. im using a drop in filter, imec trumpets and made my own cold air feed into the normal systems opening |

Nah man its for a ae111, they have one for the ae86 too though. So perfect fit. Fujitsubo also do the power getter, which is a straight though. Legalis is a muffler design Edited by bmchi, Mar 11 2012, 05:44 AM.

Hey there and welcome to the forum aaron. I'm over on the other side of the country and I know a bit of what can be found in oz for our cars such as general simple things that are the same as ADM corollas. Regards to mods have a look around the forum there's plenty of info. Regarding Turbos and Superchargers be prepared to empty your pockets to do that you will need at least $5000 put aside for it. $8999 is pretty reasonable for a BZ-R since these cars are imports they wont drop in price easily so that's probably a good buy for that car. Mine is a BZ-G so it's cheaper and they can be had for as low as $5000-7000 difference is it's 5 speed and has Machperson strut suspension so its cheaper to maintain the suspension than a BZ-R with Superstrut. If your planning on some good tasteful mods to start yourself off extractors alone would be useless if you haven't got a custom exhaust system. If it's stock consider getting Mandrel Bent 2.25" or 2.5" Exhaust system with like a Magnaflow muffler and High Flow cat for example. Don't touch any of those cheaper systems like Redback or whatever the exhaust shop down the road will try to sell you for $500. They sound like crap tbh. I had a Magnaflow on my old 16V 4AGE and wow they got a great sound. Edited by Blitzer_4AGE, Mar 12 2012, 01:44 PM.

Any Jasma certified extractor/catback will do the job you need. HKS, Fujitsubo, 5zigen are some of the most common extractors/catbacks. If you are looking for brand new parts, they will cost you around 1500-1700 euro (depends on which brand) You can find used exhaust systems in a very good condition in low prices. You are searching for an AE111 4AGE 20V exhaust system.

Yer im looking to get the hks silent hi power exhaust, what do you reckon would go well as a header for that? Also im not to sure about this, but if i got a header with this exhaust would i need any other parts to go with it? decat pipe or something or will it run just as it is with this? Im looking to keep it all simple, not having to do any mods of my own other then put the thing in and go haha

I would look for some second hand stuff, keep an eye out on here. otherwise check out importmonster, touge distributions, nengun and rhdjapan. did you check with bryan at the car yard if he had any aftermarket stuff? they usually have a whole pile of exhausts lying around, could have something he pulled off from a previous levin/trueno in the past to comply it |
