So im looking to get a new pod filter for my bz-r Anyone have any advice on what they think would work best, cold air intake would be better but pod filter if need be. Ive also heard that most of the time the stock filter works better then custom ones but im in serious doubt about that. Cheers

I have a CAI filter on my Levin for years now. It works better than the stock filter definitely. I am using an Apexi filter, with Imec trumpets in plenum. Search the forum and you will get more details about pod filters etc |

if you just put a pod filter in the bay it dose not work. you need a cai to work properly. your far better off with just a drop in panel filter if you just want a pod filter. |

Having a custom CAI sucking in warm engine air will rob you of HP. Like mentioned above, do a search or even go through the build threads and see where we place our pod filters for the best possible gain over the factory system.

Waste of time unless you are putting in a cold air intake |

Just swapping the air box with a pod filter will actually yield less power than the factory intake setup. Unless you duct it properly it's pointless and also if you run the filter behind the bumper it can suck up water when its raining so you gotta take that into account. |
