as above failed nct on low idle and high idle co emmisions everything else passed co was 1.43 and 1.34

Where is the temperature gauge usually? If it's very low then yes it will effect it. As Parrot said you will probably need a new Lambda which coincidentally I sell, PM me if you need one.

on a side not on the super make sure you crimp them very well.
i did and it came apart really easy make sure there really tight. but my fuell economy has gone from 450 max to just finish a tank at 515km. massive difference.

The fan has no significant effect on your emissions.
My fan runs constantly since i swapped my 4afe for a 4age BT.
And i have passed the emission tests the past 3 years.

I totally agree with Parrot, and i have one extra tip for you.

Give the engine a workout, pull it trough the 2nd and 3rd gear to high revs a couple of times.

This will give your catalytic converter a good blowtrough & it will get nice and warm. Then get to the garage asap for the re-test.
